RewriteProxy asking for authentication

Hi. We have RewriteProxy working fine as a proxy between two IIS 6 web servers, but we seem to be not passing HTTP Authentication headers correctly between them. If we programatically invoke the 2nd web server, passing approrpiate authentication headers, all is well; if we access the first server, again programatically passing authentication headers, we are prompted for credentials. Any suggestions?
