Is there a character limit?
Hello,
We are using ISAPI/rewrite 3.1.0.98. Today while we were in the process of entering a series of 300 plus redirects, the config editor stopped working. The problem details says "appcrash" of the "configeditor.ext". At this time it seems we are unable to go over a certain amount of rows/characters.
Here is how our file begins.
# Helicon ISAPI_Rewrite configuration file
# Version 3.1.0.98
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCompatibility2 On
RepeatLimit 200
RewriteBase
I removed the RepeatLimit 200 since it's obselete but did not notice a change. Has anyone else had this issue?
Thank you.

Re: Is there a character limit?
Hello,
This is quite unique problem. SAPI_Rewrite doesn't have limits on the number of rules. And the limits on the number of characters is quite unreachable.
Lets continue this discussion via email. We might need you. htaccess to take a look.
Regards
Andrew

Recently we, "Inserted the following code to httpd.conf: NotificationType=PREPROC_HEADERS
This switched ISAPI rewrite to earlier notification event, and several features won’t work, like REQUEST_FILENAME condition." I am not sure if this has any bearing on the unique situation.
