ISAPI_Rewrite access violation exception (0xC0000005) IIS 6
Having an issue with our application pools/sites crashing in IIS6.0. Dump files always point to the ISAPI_Rewrite3 as the faulting module with it causing an access violation exception. See below for an example:
Exception Information
ISAPI_REWRITE+74DBWARNING - DebugDiag was not able to locate debug symbols for ISAPI_Rewrite.dll, so the information below may be incomplete.
In W32BD9~1.DMP the assembly instruction at ISAPI_Rewrite+74db in C:\Program Files\Helicon\ISAPI_Rewrite3\ISAPI_Rewrite.dll from Helicon Tech has caused an access violation exception (0xC0000005) when trying to write to memory location 0x00000001 on thread 6
Does anyone know if this is a known issue or is this maybe something more to do with a rule deadlock where two rules are fighting each other. We use two HTAccess files, one as sort of a standard domain redirect ruleset to do things like redirect different domain requests for domains we own to a our main site domain which is assigned to the default IIS directory (C:\Inetpub\wwwroot) and then a second file which we use for more intricate stuff like SSL/non SSL redirects, path redirects, etc. located at E:\Inetpub\<site directory>. We get a ton of crashes and the faulting module is always the isapi tool. Just want to know if there is some sort of known issue with this tool that could cause this. Thanks for any help here.

Re: ISAPI_Rewrite access violation exception (0xC0000005) II
Hello,
Please upgrade to the latest version available: http://www.helicontech.com/download-isapi_rewrite3.htm
And please indicate what build you are currently using.
If crashes persist with the latest build we'll give you .pdb files for debugging.

Version We are running is 3.1.0.99. We recently upgraded in an effort to fix this error but it still persists.
