Godaddy Virtual Server 2008 IIS Users - Joomla 2.5

27 Apr 2013, 09:47

Hello Team, I just recently installed ISAPI on my Godaddy 2008 Virtual Server running IIS. I wanted to know if anyone was experiencing issues with the type of server? I am running Joomla 2.5 and when I activate the SEF in the global config menu, I get a 500 error. I have search Google and I can't find anyone using ISAPI for Joomla 2.5, is it a possibility that it is not needed. Does anyone have any thoughts on why this is not working?

Added to the top of my index.php file

if ( isset( $_SERVER[ 'HTTP_X_REWRITE_URL' ] ) ) { $_SERVER[ 'REQUEST_URI' ] = $_SERVER['HTTP_X_REWRITE_URL' ]; }

Hello,

You haven't enabled logging. Logging issues are described in FAQ - http://www.helicontech.com/forum/10648-FAQ.html
Please, provide us with the rewrite.log for a testing request.
