New to IIS/ISAPI

Our IT Tech recently left the company and when he did something happened to our site, not sure if he did it on purpose or not. None of our links work when you click a link or even the sign in option you get an error and the resulting page won't show up. Our web domain IX Hosting just told me that I should upgrade our account to a 10x more expensive option before they will work on it. I was hoping an isapi rewrite module would fix the problem, but I am completely new to iis and isapi and the software. I was looking for some sort of instruction on how I would go about fixing this problem, or even if the problem is fixable using an isapi rewrite. If any further information is needed I can post it.

What OS do you have? version of IIS?
Do you know what you're trying to achieve? Do you have incoming(the request a customer makes in a browser) and resulting(landing request) request?

Windows 7 Ult, the IIS is 7.5, as far as what I am trying to achieve, I was told a rewrite would fix the links.

The idea is that you need to have the request than you make and realize where it should land. We're basically connecting dots between broken and correct URLs.

Okay, so what you are saying is when you click a link it makes a request(for the url link?), but in this case the request is not being answered because of a faulty url. So I need to find the request and where the request is supposed to lead me, I'm just not sure how to find that information. And then when I do have that information I will need to write the url so it lands where it is supposed to, which I'm still unsure of the process. I feel that I don't have the information/software I need. I wasn't around when the site was made and the old IT tech didn't leave me with any information outside of who our web domain hosting company is.

So to rewrite the link URL can I do it with basic HTML? And if so how do I implement it into the website so it takes affect?

Yes, you can. In the documentation there's information about implementing rules in .htaccess and httpd.conf.
