deploy file not renaming

I try to deploy a ruby on rails (3.2.17) application with HeliconZoo on an IIS Windows 2008 Server. I've coppied the whole Folder to my production system and renamed deploy_done.rb to deploy.rb. Then I have two Problems:

First, I want the deployment to start directly, but I could not manage it, not even by restarting the Website in IIS, only by starting the whole server, what I can't do anytime.

Second, when the deployment works at least, HeliconZoo is not renaming deploy.rb file back to deploy_done.rb. This results in deploying again and again.

What can I do to solve this problems?

Hello.

This must be a file permission issue. The account running IIS Application Pool should have 'List folder content' permissions on site's folder, in order for automatic deploy file detection to work. And it should have 'Write' permissions on the folder to be able to rename the file.

me too face same problem years back. i got the solution for one website. answers are available in google. so you can search there you will find it.
