Reverse Proxy
Good Afternoon,
Wonder if you can help?
I’m trying to setup a reverse proxy on my IIS 6.0 server. E.g. I want to be able to run a WordPress blog for a client from a different server. E.g. blog.domain.com to be http://www.domain.com/blog/ in order to do this I need to be able to match the subfolder to a different server. I have this working on iis7 with application request routing, but having issue with getting it working on an older server, this is why I have brought helicon ape in order to use mod proxy to get it running. So to conclude I need to point a virtual folder e.g. blog to another server and rewrite all URLS in the site to use the http://www.domain.com/blog/ and not the subdomain.
Hope this makes sense.

Re: Reverse Proxy
A proxy server is a dedicated computer or a software system running on a PC that goes about as a middle person between an endpoint device, such as a computer, and help with dissertation another server from which a client or customer is asking for a service.
