Configure redmine to use MySQL
Hello,
I have just installed the latest package fo redmine using web platform. According to this article http://www.helicontech.com/articles/ins ... roduction/. And it work good. I need redmine use mysql database so i changed database.yml file to
I have created databse, installed mysql gem. But getting this error: http://d.pr/i/sR42.
Additional info:
first part image: http://d.pr/i/mvZH
second part image: http://d.pr/i/kgRo
I saw few topics on this forum with the same error but it was not resolved

MySQL gems on Windows always come with a slight “bitter taste”
I’ve had enough trouble with it in the past and decided to use PostgreSQL.
However there are ways to get MySQL working. Please see this answer:

Please provide all log files from the “log” folder of your application. Also clarify your MySQL version and mysql2 gem version. Thank you.

I managed to setup Redmine on Windows 7 utilizing MySQL, Apache, and Mongrel, yet when I attempted to introduce a similar setup on Windows Server, I experienced a wide range of issues with RoR and MySQL, so I chose to setup on CentOS, assignment writing uk which is the thing that we use for our generation web facilitating in any case.
