This is what we are trying to achieve or something along these lines, can anyone help.

1. original url: http://www.mydomain.com/rrps/rerlgitem.cfm?rerlstid=44836

3. our preference http://www.mydomain.com/rrps/holiday_property/anytext-44836.html

holiday_property identifies rerlgitem.cfm. The "-" indicates an rerlstid is next and the bit before can be anything.
