Some issues on IIS8

Hello,

Recently I have installed Windows 8 and IIS8 and now trying to setup my web application which is using ISAPI_Rewrite 3.0. Unfortunately it is not working - the application pool of my site is stopped by the system every time I go to the website using the browser.

The error messages I get in the event log is the following:
In Application log:

Error:
An unhandled win32 exception occurred in w3wp.exe [4024]. Just-In-Time debugging this exception failed with the following error: The operation attempted is not supported.

In System log:
-------------------------------
Error:
Application pool 'rfc' is being automatically disabled due to a series of failures in the process(es) serving that application pool.

Warning:
A process serving application pool 'rfc' suffered a fatal communication error with the Windows Process Activation Service. The process id was '3716'. The data field contains the error number.

Hello, Anton

Please specify what build of ISAPI_Rewrite you are trying to install.
Also please indicate if the OS and ISAPI_Rewrite are x86 or x64.
And please send the applicationHost.config to [email protected].

Thank you for your reply.
I am on x64 PC and Windows8 and installed isapi_rwf_x86_0078.msi build.

Also it is worth to note that the Application Pool is setup to run on .Net 2.0.50727 (although I have .Net 4.0.30319 installed as well - this is Windows8). My application was created earlier and was developed on .Net 2.0 this is why I am not migrating it to 4.0 yet.

I sent my machine.config from C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727 folder to the mentioned email address.

I have installed the latest build of ISAPI_Rewrite3 and it helped me!
