Rewrite Randomly Stops Working

Hi

Ive recently transfered a site to a new server and we are running the latest version of Isapi_rewrite and i am suffering the same issue as this post (http://www.helicontech.com/forum/19116- ... cally.html) on the old server the software has run correctly for nearly 2 years.

Periodically we also find that it fails to redirect any of the URLs in the map files and simply falls back on the default site in IIS.

When this occurs it seems like the mapfile is locking if we simply regenerate the map files everything starts running again.

Theres nothing in the logs nor in the server logs?????
Any Ideas??????

The workaround I'd suggest is creating a temporary mapfile and after it is fully generated - rename it into the regular one.
Sometimes this problem happens during the creation of the mapfile.
